Welcome to Middle East Studies Program

The Middle East Studies Program at Florida International University is the University’s premier academic center devoted to the study of the Middle East. It is a part of FIU's School of International and Public Affairs and its activities include lectures, workshops, conferences, and cultural and artistic events, open to students and the community. In addition, MES offers a University Certificate in “Middle East and Central Asian Studies”.
